"We have lost a lot of people, me and my husband felt powerless when we could not help them."
I work with women and specifically in table banking, entrepreneurship and training. I work with Dandelion because I believe in giving back to society and the impact and transformation that takes place is fulfilling.
I am a free spirit who oozes positive energy. This enables me to be an optimist who is a solution giver to a problem solving organization like Dandelion, my mantra being shifting impossibilities to possibilities.
Being an administrator I simply focus on results to ensure that we are here to accomplish what Dandelion was founded to do and that is to uphold the rights of women and children and of course, the human race.
You will find me assisting with all health matters as that is the department that I fall in. I mobilize people during outreach programs and I am also the link person for persons who have tested positive for HIV and are residents of hard to reach rural areas. We enroll them and ensure that they get their medication. I am also the team leader of the community health volunteers who help us out with family planning efforts, cervical cancer screenings and immunization.
Children are the joy and success of the community. They can not succeed without being supported by the parents who are the community.
